Grey body clay, marbled blues and whites make up the sky, with an illustration of a woman holding onto a cross in the middle of the ocean. The illustration was carved and wedged into the vessel while the piece was still being wheel thrown, allowing for twisting and turning to distort the image to a certain degree.
The lettering was also made out of color clay and wedged onto the surface.
Fully water tight, with a pinkish/lavender glaze on the inside.
Stands at a bit over 8 inches tall, with a 5 inch opening.
